Third-party notices

This is a summary of the repo's THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md file; see that file for the canonical, complete text. Packaged installs carry the components below along with their own licenses.

FFmpeg (LGPL, in-process decode)

libavcodec, libavformat, libavutil, libswscale, libswresample, libavfilter, libavdevice — built without --enable-gpl/--enable-nonfree. LGPL v2.1+.

FFmpeg / ffprobe (GPL, encode sidecar)

Stock ffmpeg/ffprobe binaries run as a separate subprocess for export encode/mux, including GPL components like x264/x265. GPLv3.

Electron / Chromium / Node.js

Application shell. MIT (Electron); Chromium and Node.js carry their own licenses.

Inter

Typeface used in the bundled sub-third-party motif. SIL Open Font License 1.1.

RIFE / Anime4K ONNX models

Optional local frame-interpolation models. MIT.

Whisper (q8 ONNX, Xenova/whisper-base)

Optional download for the local Agent dictation feature. Apache-2.0 (repo) / MIT (source model).

npm and Rust dependencies

Under their own licenses as declared in package-lock.json and Cargo.lock (MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, ISC, …).
